KNOB OF THE WEEK.
The award this week goes to that egotistical cunt Kim Huybrechts, who always seems to be moaning about something, and like Vincent van der Voort they are never short of speaking their mind. The difference however unlike Kimmy, a least Vincent does not make it all about himself and speaks in general terms.
This week the deluded Belgian fuckwit claimed on a podcast "I think I am the best Belgian darter of all time".
So lets look at who Kim places himself above.
Eric Clarys. Here is a guy that mushrooms view with rose tinted glasses because he won a BDO World Masters, but it was post split when the elite of darts had already fucked off, so hardly the worthy comp some would have you believe.
Leo Laurens - Former WDF #1 in 1993, again this might have held some credibility had the split not already happened and he was boosted to the top of the rankings as the WDC/PDC players were struck from the list.
Andy Baetens - Current WDF #1. Hardly impressive when your competition are failed tour card holders, Modus flops and kids.Even Nick Kenny w as a former WDF #1.
So yes Kim is better player than those I mentioned, but for the deluded prick to think he is better than Babs van den Bergh is just ridiculous. Huybrechts has never won a proper ranking major, in fact has never won a "Premier Event" be it ranking or non ranking in his entire career. Never reached the semis of the World champs. The one and only time he ever reached the final of a "Premier Event" was 11 years ago in the Players Championships Finals and then was absolutely battered by Taylor who averaged almost a dozen points higher. At least Babs has won a proper ranking major in the Matchplay, even if it was in an empty arena behind closed doors.
For Huybrechts to claim to be the best Belgian player whilst another Belgian player is 21 places above him in the rankings shows how much of a prick he is. It would not surprise me if this ego and jealousy of his is part of the reason he dislikes dimitri and sulked his way through the last World Cup.Vincent van der Voort even claimed on Dutch TV that not only had Kim and Babs had a fight but also the wives were involved and Babs like the little shit he is went crying to the PDC and filed a complaint.
As for Vincent van der Voort, whilst I might not always agree with him I do admire him for not being another in a long list of suck ups towing the party line, and use to think he was a miserable fucker but in comparison to Barney he comes across as positively charismatic and when Vinnie does complain he unlike others dont make it solely for his own ego. This week Vinnie spoke on a podcast how he still does not like Co Stompe and said MvG and himself do not want anything to do with liars. This was over an incident years ago where Co said Vinnie used back problems as an excuse for defeat. Vinnie also this week spoke with VTM 2 commentator Matthias De Vlieger who was annoyed over Vinnie spilling the details of Babs and Kim Huybrechts.This Matthias sounds like another suck up cunt who would promote imaginary needle but want any real needle buried for fear he rocks the boat an might curtail any future interviews etc. The Belgian TV host wanted Vinnie to keep things private, so fair fucks to Vinnie for being up front and open.
Vinnie this week also spoke about MvG his best friend in the game saying MvG's performances were disappointing and MvG is not as hungry as he used to be. When I hear about Vinnie speaking his mind it is great but in a weird way disappointing in that while the Belgian and Duch TV stations get him on to voice his opinion, all we get on Sky is Thunder Thighs Turner who achieved nothing in the game in order to tick some woke list, a jobber in Mardle who thinks a bit of self deprecation followed by him laughing at his own stupid jokes passes itself off as analysis and humour. Sky sadly would never have the likes of Vinnie on a panel, look how they treated the greatest ever in Eric Bristow and sacked him and then had the audacity to pretend it never happened when Eric died and they could not kiss his arse quick enough.
WORLD GRAND PRIX
It was no secret of my dislike of the odious cunt Luke Humphries and wanted his to get beaten in the final, but credit where it is due, he not only won but did so in impressive style. Like Bellyboy before him, I despised the ego, the entitlement, etc, but both have went on to win a proper major, not some 2 bit non ranking shit. He can still be a cunt but at least now he has proved he can cross the line and his arrogance wont be as annoying as he is a winner now. He became the 38th different player in PDC history to win what they call a "Premier Event". If we just count the 4 original big proper ranking Majors (Worlds, UK open, Matchplay, Grand Prix) he has become the 26th different player to win a major. In the final he took out some finishes that would have crippled any player, including 170. Even with Price waiting on a double for the set, he took out 138 for the win. It did not take long for that cunt Keith Deller to hit twitter to bring up he got a 138, has the cunt ever spoke about anything else ever ?. As for Price he was not happy, nor should he be at losing. Show me a good loser and I will show you a loser. I saw some people claim he was sulking, hence why he withdrew from this weekends Euro tour, but that is hardly surprising when he has form for skipping events, and wont be the first time where Wales were playing a rugby match he pulled out of an event. Tomorrow Wales play Argentina in a World Cup quarter final so hardly surprising he does not want to be playing darts.
